Each week in assembly, a Thought of the Week is written and shared by children in Y5.

This week’s thought of the week is about Thinking about Others.

Many of us enjoy the celebration of Halloween and like to dress up in costumes and go out at night to collect treats. However, we should all remember not to go knocking on doors unless we know who they are and that they are happy to have people call at their house. Many people, especially the elderley, can be very frightened by strangers knocking at their door.
It is also important that we all remain safe and we should never go out at night alone. You should always be with a responsible older person, like your mum, dad, brother or sister.
Please remember to think of others at Halloween and to have fun whilst being responsible.
