Each week in assembly, a Thought of the Week is written and shared by children in Y5.
This week’s thought of the week is about kindness.
This week we heard a story about a lady called Theresa, who made a big difference to people's lives by the little things she did for them.
We can all show acts of kindness to others in many ways. Sometimes a simple smile is all it takes; other times we may share something, support each other or pay a compliment to someone.
Think about when you have been on the receiving end of a kind act. It makes you feel special too, and can really brighten up someone's day.
A well-known quote suggests that: "No act of kindness, no matter how big or small, is ever wasted."
Let's always think about how we can show acts of kindness to others to brighten up their day.
