Each week in assembly, a Thought of the Week is written and shared by children in Y5.

This week’s thought of the week is about asking for help.

It is important to ask for help when required, although you must think about when asking is the best option. Sometimes a problem can be overcome independently but other times asking for help can really support you. This could be in the classroom, at home or when playing with friends.
For example, if you are finding a piece of work difficult you can ask a teacher or a friend for help. This will enable you to produce your best work. Furthermore, if you fall out with a friend you could ask a peer mediator or an adult on duty outside for help. This will help you to have a more enjoyable break-time.
Let's all remember to ask for help when we need it.
