Assemblies

On a weekly basis we have a mixture of EYFS/KS1, KS2 and whole school assemblies. All registered pupils take part daily in our assembly, unless withdrawn by parents. Assemblies will provide the opportunity to consider moral issues and to explore their own beliefs. Pupils will be encouraged to participate and respond through active involvement in the presentation of worship or through listening to, watching and joining in. We aim to develop a community spirit, promoting a common ethos and shared values whilst reinforcing positive behaviour and attitudes.

Monday - Based on Personal, Social and Emotional Development themes led by different teachers each week
Tuesday - Church Assembly led by Revd Philip de Grey-Warter or Beth Kelso
Wednesday - Key Stage Assemblies led by different teachers
Thursday - Singing Assembly led by Chris Wathern
Friday - Celebration Assembly led by Chris Wathern or Maria Barnes

Our assemblies cover a range of themes. Please see below for our Monday assembly themes, which set the theme for the week.
